    После нескольких лет изнурительной войны, Европа стала последним пристанищем ослабленных в боях сил НАТО. Остров Стратис захвачен противником с ближнего Востока и его завоевание даст гарантированное превосходство НАТО в данном регионе. Началась операция «Магнитуда»: небольшая группа специально подготовленных солдат вместе с учеными под прикрытием отправляются на остров в Средиземном море. Миссия под угрозой краха! Команда практически полностью уничтожена, а главного героя, капитана Скотта Миллера, выбрасывает на берег вражеского острова. Завершить операцию в его силах, но на его пути встают все опасности современных военных действий, безжалостная окружающая среда и численное превосходство врага. Обдумывать придется каждый шаг!

    Bootcamp для Arma 3 объяснит все тонкости симулятора новым игрокам
    Начнём с одиночной кампании. «Для новобранцев одиночный режим Bootcamp будет наилучшим для погружения в Arma 3», — сообщает Bohemia. Этот режим посвятит новых игроков в основы боя, расскажет об ориентировании, обращении с оружием и движениях персонажей путём небольшого пролога. Мультиплеерный режим, основанный на дополнении Zeus, предложит более «скилловым» игрокам (инструкторам) взять на учёбу новичков (рекрутов). По мере прохождения рекрутами заранее определённых целей инструкторы будут их вести по сценарию и оказывать поддержку.
    Также в рамках обновления Bootcamp в игру будет добавлен виртуальный арсенал — местный просмотрщик персонажей, экипировки и оружия. Выбранное снаряжение можно будет сохранить в качестве скрипта и добавить в другую модификацию. Другой виртуальный элемент Bootcamp — VR Training — обучит игроков базовой игровой механики, разложенной на разные темы, в виртуальных декорациях, лишённых ненужных объектов. Здесь работают три главных принципа: простота задач, мгновенный перезапуск и возрастающая сложность — в любой момент можно будет быстро начать миссию заново или вернуть на карту нужный объект.
